Weddings
Just Strings is a unique and perfect complement
to your special day. We have a wealth of experience and success
in providing live music for civil, humanist and church wedding
ceremonies and for the celebrations afterwards.
We would usually start playing 15-30 minutes
before the ceremony begins, thus setting the scene as the guests
arrive. We then play for the entrance of the bride, during the
signing of the register and for the exit of the newlyweds. The
quartet would then move outside to entertain the guests during
the photographs and later return inside for the wedding breakfast,
playing up to speeches.

We suggest traditional music for the ceremony,
followed by more contemporary styles during the drinks reception
and meal.
Whether your wedding be church, civil or humanist,
we tailor each engagement to your individual requirements. However,
civil ceremonies do not permit music of a religious nature,
so hymns or pieces with sacred connections are not permitted.
The following pieces are suggestions for during
the ceremony:-
